SAC Elite Guard Bench
| The SAC Elite Guard memorial bench has now taken its
place adjacent to the "Stormer" statue dedicated to the men and women of
the Air Police, Security Police and Security Forces. This bench
represents the SAC Elite Guard's salute to the men and women who have worn
the shield either as an Air Policeman, Security Policeman or Security
Force Member. I am sure after viewing the pictures you will agree it is a
beautiful bench with a fitting inscription that recognizes our
comrades. You will note from the pictures the statue is surrounded
by memorial bricks, which are available for purchase through the AFSPA. Future projects need your financial support, we trust in your
continued support through membership and membership activities.

Special thank you to Bob Griffith for his work with AFSPA and the Wright Patterson Museum in coordinating activities. A formal dedication of the Wright Patterson Museum bench was held October 21, 2005. |
