Billy Wayne Davis, 75 of New Blaine, Arkansas died Thursday, November 6, 2008 in Fort Smith Arkansas. He was born November 22, 1932 to his parents James Wallace and Dorotha Faye (Robinson) Davis, He is preceded in death by his wife Dixie Gaylen Davis. He is Survived by one daughter, Tammy Dodd of Everett, WA, one son, Bill Davis of Edgewood, New Mexico, two sisters: Sula Faye Appleton of Paris, AR; Betty Sue Gregory of Stover, MO; one brother Johnny Davis of Harrison, AR; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside Service was held on November 12, 2008 at 2pm at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery, New Blaine, Arkansas. Billy retired in 1987 from First Interstate Bank in Seattle where he served as a Vice President. He was also President of the George Washington Lodge of the Masons. Upon retiring he returned to his birth place, New Blaine, AR where he remained active in the community serving as Battalion Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department and was also instrumental in founding a local church.
